A murder has occurred in Random City. During a recent snowstorm, a man fell into a coffee roaster and was brutally killed. The police are investigating the incident as an undetermined death. With the medical examiner stuck in the snow, Detective Ronnie Mulkovic has a bit of time — just enough to grab himself a hot cup of coffee while waiting for the coroner to arrive. But Ronnie soon realizes that finding coffee at night, in a remote city, during a snowstorm... is anything but easy. In fact, it might be the hardest thing he’s ever done.
